I am 12th passed from u.p. Board in 2004 do i can apply this bank celrk job

As cited above that you have passed Intermediate in the year 2004 and want to do Clerical Assistant job in Banking sector then for your information Banking sector jobs are the secured jobs in terms of job secured and time management next to Govt. sector jobs. A person get too much respect in this locality if he works in Banking sector.

The recruitment for the posts in Banking sector is done by the following recruiting authorities :-

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age should be in between 18 to 28 years. However relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 years to SC/ST/ Ex-servicemen is applicable.

Educational qualification :- 

Must has passed SSLC / Intermediate with a minimum of 60% aggregate from a recognized Board / institution.

c) Co-Operative Banks

Books to be refer from best authors of each topic for cracking the said exam. The following are the books from best authors which you have to refer is as follows :-

RS Agarwal Objective English for General English
S chand Publications Numerical Aptitude and logical Reasoning
Kiran publications Marketing aptitude

NOTE : - A person has to pass in each topic for getting eligible for cutoff.

Selection is purely based on Written exam / Interview and on Merit.

Indian Banking Personnel Selection 
State Bank of India
Co-Operative Banks

Indian Banking Personnel Selection is an authority to recruit candidates for almost 19 Public Sector Banks, some of the banks are listed below :-

Andhra Bank, Axis Bank, Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Canara Bank, Bank of India, Oriental Bank of Commerce etc.

State Bank of India is one of the leading Bank of India which has a large number of branches spread all over the country the recruitment for the posts in State Bank of India is done by the SBI Banking recruiting authorities.

The recruitment for the posts in Co-operative banks like State Bank of Mysore, Karnataka Bank etc. is done by the respective Co-operative Banks.

The syllabus pattern followed by the Banking sector authorities for recruiting Clerical Assistant is as follows :-

Am i eligible for PO exam being a SC category student with B.Tech in 56%?


sir iam bhagya.my cast is SC i have 56% in B.tech.I applied PO post for andra bank.but they mentioned 60% in degree.but i thought that all govt.job for SC/ST have 55% only.please tell me can i eligible for that po exam.

eligibility for PO jobs in bank, how to get Probationary officer job in bank, courses for getting a job in banking sector, job in bank for SC/ST, after B.Tech, BE with 55%


Dear Friend;

As said above that you have passed out Graduation in Technology with 56% aggregate and you belongs to SC category and wants to apply for the Probationary officer post in Banking sector.

For you information, the minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the Probationary officer post is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28 

c) Educational qualification :- 

Must have passed out Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC. Only 20% of the banks wants 60% aggregate in Graduation for applying to PO post.

Relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 to Sc-ST and 10 to Ex-servicemen is applicable in terms of age is applicable for applying to the PO post in Banking sector.

The recruitment for the above said posts is recruited by the IBPS twice in a year in the month of February as well as September, while the recruitment in Reserve Bank / SBI and other Co-operative Banks will be recruited as when then found necessity.
