Can you please tell me about government jobs which comes under Group 2 examination?

Group B posts are conducted by both State Public Service Commission and Staff Selection Commission for the posts in State as well as Central Govt. departments.

Here below is the list of Group B posts recruited by the SPSC for the posts in State Govt. department :-

Chief Planning Officer
Chief Account Officer
Deputy Director
Registrar
Executive Officer
etc.

Here below is the list of Group B posts conducted by the Staff Selection commission for the posts in Central Government Department :-

Assistant Central Secretariat Service
Assistant Central Vigilance Commission
Assistant Ministry of Defence
Assistant Intelligence Bureau
Assistant Ministry of Railway
Assistant Ministry of External Affairs
Assistant (Cypher) Ministry of External Affairs 

The minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the above said posts is just passed Graduation recognized by the university which comes under UGC. Other than qualification a candidate must be a citizen of Indian and his age does not exceeds to 28 for General Category candidates.

For getting notified about latest ongoing posts visit your state public service commission website for Group B posts in State Department and Staff selection commission website i.e. www.ssc.nic.in for Group B posts in Central Government departments.

There would be a relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 years to SC-ST and 10 years to Ex-servicemen is applicable
