Am I eligible for B.Ed course at the age of 35? If Yes,Can I apply for Govt school teacher job after completing B.Ed?

Dear Aspirant;

The recruitment for the posts in Govt. Schools is recruited by the State Public Instruction Commission or by State Public service commission, As said above that you have done B.Ed, which is one year teaching course after Graduation. On base of B.Ed you may be eligible for applying to the High School Teacher post in Govt. schools.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India

b) Age limit should be 18-30 years

c) Educational qualification :- Must has passed out Graduation and One year Bachelor degree in Education with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

There would be a relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 to SC-ST and 10 years to EX-servicemen is applicable.

Mode of Selection :- 

Through Written exam and on Merit.

Hence, from the above, its clear that if you belongs to either SC-ST or Ex-servicemen category then only you will be eligible or else you will be not eligible for teaching post in Govt. High schools.
