Can i apply for government jobs after B.Tech course completion from KSOU?

Dear Aspirant;

Karnataka State Open University comes under UGC / DEC / ACU / AAO / COA but it is not recognized by the AICTE, which means after completion of any course from this university a candidate must be eligible for applying to only Administrative posts in Central / State Govt.. departments but not Technical Post.

This university does not provide any technical course like Graduation in Engineering / Technology.

For applying to the Technical posts in the Govt. sector a candidate has to passed out Gradaution in Engineering from a university which comes under UGC and AICTE.

What is AICTE ?

AICTE is nothing but All India Council for Technical Education, its an statutory body which is established in November 1945 and it was inaugurated by the Education Minister Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad in 1953. It deals with development and proper planning of the technical education system in India. All the Engineering, MBA and Pharmacy colleges are affilated under AICTE.

For applying to the Technical posts in Govt. as well as pvt. sector AICTE approval is recommended.
