Can i do government job at the age of 32 years?

Government jobs are the secured jobs, that’s the reason why many of the peoples wants to secure their seat in Govt. sector, for your information the recruitment for the post in Govt. sector is recruited by the following authorities :-

Union Public Service Commission :- For the Civil Service posts in Central Govt. departments

Staff Selection Commission :- For the posts other then Civil service posts in Central Govt. departments.

State Public Service Commission :- For the posts in State Govt. departments.

Next to Govt. sector the following Sector / Organizations are also have more scope :-

BANKING SECTOR
RAILWAYS SECTOR
GOVERNMENT / PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS

For applying to the Civil Service / Executive Posts in the above Govt. sector a candidate has to pass out Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC. 

Other then educational qualification a candidate must be a citizen of India and the age should not be less than 18 and more than 28 years.

The following are some of the relaxation provided by the Govt. / Banking / Railways sector for the Backward category candidates :-

Relaxation of 3 years to OBC i.e. 28+3=31
Relaxation of 5 years to SC-ST i.e. 28+5=33
Relaxation of 10 years to Ex-servicemen i.e 28+10=38

Hence from the above its clear that if you comes under SC-ST / Ex-servicemen category then only you will be eligible.

Before applying to any posts you have to read the notification carefully because there would be a change in upper age limit for the Senior level posts / Teaching posts or the posts in Police etc.
