Dear Aspirant;

IAS :- Indian Ambassador service is an Civil service post which is conducted by the UPSC for the posts in Central Govt. departments. The recruitment is usually held in the month of February every year.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India

b) Age limit should be 21-30

c) Educational Qualification :- Just passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

Relaxation provided by the Govt. for Backward category candidates is as follows :-

Age relaxation :-

There would be a relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 Years to SC- ST is applicable.

Relaxation on Number of limits :-

There would be a relaxation of 4 attempts to General category / 7 to OBC and no limit for SC-ST category candidates.
