Details about the job for electronics and communication trade?

I want to know about that can i get job in merchant navy after completing my b.tech in electronics and communication and if i can get that job then what i have to do for this to get my job and is it having any scope further in electronics and communication trade to do jaob in merchant navy

Dear Friend;

There is much more scope available for those who has passed out Graduation in Electronics and communications in Govt. as well as Pvt. sector.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the Merchant navy posts is as follows :- 

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28
c) Educational Qualification :-

For applying in Deck Department a candidate has to secured a minimum of 60% aggregate in Graduation in Nautical Engineering from a recognized university which comes under UGC and AICTE approved too.

There are two type of departments available in Merchant Navy :-

a) Deck Department
b) Engineer Department

The following are the posts comes under Deck Department :-

Deck Officer
Chief Officer / officer
Second mate / officer
Third mate / officer
etc.
The following are the posts comes under Engine department :-

Marine Engineer
Electrical Engineer
Radio Officer
etc.

Selection is totally based on written exam and on merit. :)
