The recruitment for the sub inspector post in Police department is recruited by the Karnataka State Police Service Commission, the minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the Sub Inspector post is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28 years.
c) Educational qualification :- 

Must has passed out Graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate in any discipline from a State recognized university which comes under UGC.

Physical Fitness requires is as follows :-

CHEST :- 82cms
HEIGHT :- 172cms
Weight :- Equivalent to Height as per standard measures.

Syllabus pattern followed for the Written exam is as follows :-

GENERAL KNOWELDGE
GENERAL ENGLISH
GENERAL STATE LANGUAGE
GENERAL STUDIES

Selection is purely based on
