Dear Aspirant;

For becoming an lecturer in Govt. degree colleges a candidate has to passed out National Eligibility test which is conducted by the University Grants commission i.e. UGC.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the NET exam is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India

b) Age limit should be 18-30 (Relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 to SC-ST and 10 to Ex-servicemen is applicable)

c) Educational qualification :- A candidate has to score a minimum of 55% in Master degree in which he wants to do lectureship.

NET exam is usually conducted in the month of February / March every year, for getting notified you have to visit www.ugc.ac.in or for applications forms and other prospectus visit your nearest university / post office.
