Can a commerce background candidate is eligible to join CBI?
Dear Sir,
I want to join cbi (Central Bureau of Investigation) but i opted for commerce, hence please tell me what all i should do and salary doesnt matter for me in front of job in cbi..
Dear Aspirant;
CBI – Central Bureau of Investigation is an Central Govt.
department and the recruitment for which is done by the following recruiting
authorities :-
UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION
STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION
Union Public Service Commission is an authority to recruit
candidates for the Group ‘A’ Civil Service post, while Staff Selection
Commission is an authority to recruit candidates for the Group B, C & D
posts i.e.
EXECUTIVE LEVEL
UPPER GRADE LEVEL
JUNIOR GRADE LEVEL
The minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the
Group A, B & C post is 50% aggregate in Graduation in any discipline from a
recognized university which comes under UGC, while for the Group ‘D’ Junior
grade post a candidate has to passed out SSLC / Intermediate with a minimum of
50% aggregate from a recognized board / Instittuion.
Other than educational qualification a candidate must be a
citizen of India and his age should be in between 18-28 years. Relaxation of 3
years to OBC and 5 years to SC-ST is applicable.
