Eligibility criteria and Syllabus for lectureship in a government school after completing B.Sc with Physics honors and continuing B.Ed?

Dear Aspirant;

As said above that you want to do lectureship and you have studied Bachelor degree in Science with Physics honors and have completed Graduation in Education with around one year of teaching experience. Than for becoming an lecturer a candidate has to passed out National eligibility test (NET) exam which is conducted by the UGC mostly in the month of June / July.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the NET exam is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India

b) Age limit should be 21-30 years.

c) Educational qualification :- Must has passed out Master degree with a subject in which you want to do teaching from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

The syllabus pattern followed for the written exam is as follows :-

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE

GENERAL ENGLISH

GENERAL STUDIES

OPTIONAL SUBJECT (Which a candidate has to choose based on the specialization in your Master degree)

Selection is based on written exam / Interview and on Merit
