How to prepare for IPS exam at an age of 44 years?

I am in govt.job and my age is 44 years. is there any option remains to prepare for the examination of IPS.

Dear Friend;

IPS - Indian Police service is an civil service post conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for the post in Central Govt. department. For applying to the IPS post a candidate should be physically as well as mentally fit.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the above said post is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India

b) Age limit should be 21-30 years

c) Educational qualification :-

Just passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

Selection pattern followed is as follows :-

Preliminary Exam

Mains Exam

Interview

Merit

Hence, from the above its clear that because you have crossed 30 years, so you are not eligible for applying to any posts in Govt. sector.
