What should be the age limit for Sub Inspector exam?
Hi My D.O.B. is 10-10-1985, Can i apply for S.I.?
If yes then how can ? If no please Suggest As similar job which is govt.

good that you want to work in Police Department and make the country Crime free
and help the people from Crime, for your information for becoming an Police
Inspector a candidate must be fit Physically as well as Mentally. The
recruitment for the posts in Police Department is recruited by the State Police
Service Commission.
The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the Sub Inspector
post is as follows :-
a)
Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28
c) Educational qualification :- Must has passed out Graduation in any
discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.
The following is the physical fitness requires for applying to the Sub
Inspector post is as follows :-
Height
:-170cms
Chest :- 82cms
Weight :- Equivalent to Height as per standard measures.
Selection pattern followed is as follows :-
PHYSICAL
TEST
WRITTEN EXAM
INTERVIEW
MERIT
Relaxation
is provided by the Govt. in terms of Age and Cutoff for the Backward Category
candidates, the relaxation of upper age of 3 years to OBC / 5 to SC-ST and 10
to Ex-servicemen is applicable.
As
after calculations your present age is around 27 years, so you are eligible for
applying in General category, if you crossed 28 years then you have to apply
relaxation for applying further.
