Am i eligible for government exams after B.Tech in ECE with 59.66%?
Dear Sir,I have passed out Btech in ECe with less than 60% but i want to work in Government sector. My dad told me that for getting a job in Government organizations like BHEL/BEML/ONGC/ECIL etc one has to write competitive exams, then please help me !

There is much more scope available in Govt. as well as Pvt. sector companies / organizations for those who has passed out Graduation in Technology with Electronics and Communication Engineering. After completion of your Graduation with ECE stream you may be eligible for applying to posts in various fields like :-
Electronics Field
Designing Field
Networking Field
Programming Field
Analyst Field
Engineering Field
etc.
As mentioned above that you want to work in the Govt. organizations like BHEL / BEML / ONGC / ECIL etc. then for your information there are two ways of getting job in the above said organizations :-
a) Through Valid GATE Score card
b) Through Written exam
Syllabus pattern followed for the written exam is as follows :-
GENERAL AWARENESS
GENERAL ENGLISH
NUMERICAL APTITUDE
OPTIONAL SUBJECT (Which is based on your specialization in Graduation)
Selection will be purely based on WRITTEN EXAM / INTERVIEW and on Merit.
Apart from your technical field you are eligible for applying to various Non-Technical posts in Central / State Govt. departments which are conducted by the UPSC / SPSC / SSC / Banking / Railways etc.
