What are the government jobs available for IT students?

Hy sir, this is Atul from Maharashtra, i have passed Btech with IT stream and want to know the government job opportunities in this stream, so please help me and guide me thoroughly..

As said above that you have passed out Graduation in Computer Technology with Information Technology, then for your information on base of B.Tech with IT stream you are eligible for applying to the numerous posts in Govt. as well as Pvt. sector Software / IT companies, you may be posted as :-

WEB DESIGNER

SYSTEM / DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

NETWORK ENGINEER

SYSTEM ENGINEER

DATA / SYSTEM ANALYST

etc.

The following are some of the Govt. Organizations that recruits the Btech IT candidates for the above said posts :-

BHEL

BEML

BSNL

DRDO

ONGC

ISRO

etc.

Selection pattern followed by the above said organizations is through GATE exam or Competitive exam.

For getting a job easily you have to do some certified courses in Programming / Database / Networking etc

Apart from your field you are eligible for applying to various posts in Govt. as well as Railways departments.

In Banking sector you are eligible for applying to the Probationary officer as well as Clerical Assistant post.
