Qualification required for RTO job in Tamil Nadu?
I want to know about the qualification required for RTO job in tamilnadu.
Dear Friend;
RTO – Regional Transport Officer, is an Group ‘B” Executive post
and the recruitment for the Regional Transport officer is made by the State
Public Service Commission for the post in State Government department.
There are two type of Regional Transport officer is available they are :-
a) RTO – Judicial Post
b) RTO – Engineering post
For applying to the RTO (Judicial Post) a candidate has to pass out
Graduation in Law from a recognized university which comes under UGC.
For applying to the RTO (Engineering Post) a candidate has to pass out
Graduation in Engineering / Technology with Civil / Mechanical / Electrical
stream from a recognized university which comes under UGC.
Other then educational qualification you must be a citizen of India
and you should be able to read, write and speak the State language.
The following is the selection pattern followed is as follows :-
PRILIMINARY EXAM
MAIN EXAM
INTERVIEW
MERIT
Syllabus pattern followed for the Priliminary exam is as follows :-
GENERAL STATE LANGUAGE
GENERAL STUDIES
OPTIONAL SUBJECT (Which a candidate has to select based on his qualification)
