Ration card online application 2013 – How to apply for new Ration Card online on internet in Karnataka. 

Dear Aspirants; 

As you all are aware that the Karnataka Food Civil Supplies and Consumer affairs has started application for creating new ration cards through out the Karnataka state. But because of a large number of applications the online registration for New Ration Card has been stopped. 

A Good news for the Karnataka Residents that the department of Food, Civil Supplies and consumer affairs Karnataka http://ahara.kar.nic.in) has started online registration for Ration Cards again. 

The procedure for applying to the New Ration Card in Karnataka is quite different. Earlier we use to apply for the Ration Card online through any internet center by filling up of form at http://ahara.kar.nic.in. 

But , now as per the new format a candidate who wants to create his New Ration Card through online has to send a SMS to a mobile number. 

In the SMS he has to write (RCNEW) his full name (Which he wants to see in his Ration Card) and have to send it to 9212357123 

For example your SMS should be seen in this format :- 

RCNEW Kartik M Patil 

Here in the above like (RCNEW) is the Keyword for applying to the New Ration Card and (Kartik M Patil) is a full name of the candidate, which you have to replace with your Full name and have to send it to 9212357123. 

(NOTE:- The applicant name should be Correct without any spelling mistake, because once you have sent an SMS there is no chance to change it in the application form, I advise you to use the name same as appears in your SSLC Marks Card / Birth Certificate) 

Once you have send your name as SMS to the above said number, you will receive one SMS containing “Token / Entry number as well as Security Code” instantly on your mobile (which you have to write it in your book for Records. 

After getting an Entry / Token number and Security code you have to visit your nearest Photo Bio Center if you are residing in Urban areas or you have to visit your nearest Gram Panchayath if you are residing in the Rural Areas and has to meet to the Introducer for applying to the New Ration card online. 

In the presence of the Introducer you have to fill up all your required family information in the online application format without any errors. After filling up of application form without any errors you have to upload your family members photographs and biometric.

Address Proof (Xerox with Original)

Now your work is completed, the Food inspector will verify your New Ration Card application online and if he found correct he will issue you a New Ration Card.

As you all are aware that now the world is now completely on Internet and Network, in this full speed technologies if a person uses slow internet connection that he will be left back. Though we take fast internet connection and pay more for speed but we face slow connection. 

This happens because of your operating system, ya its true operating system reserves 20% of the internet bandwidth / speed for their personal use for various services like Windows update, spyware check, QOS Packet scheduler and many non visible applications which wants internet. 

So, for making your internet connection from slow to full speed or in other words you want to enjoy bandwidth as what you pay then you have to follow the following steps :- 

Step – 1:- Click Start - > Run - > and type Gpedit.msc (Refer the Pictorial view)

Step 2 :- Once you enter the GPEDIT.msc command in the Run tab Local Computer Policy branch application will get opens :-

Step -3 :- Now you have to click on the Computer configuration tab which is listed left side (Refer the Picture).

Step :- 4 :- Once you have Expand Computer configuration you will find the Administrative Templates and then Network branch (Refer the Picture).

Step – 5 :- Just highlight the QoS Packet Scheduler branch and you will see a tab Limit Reservable Bandwidth on the right side.

Step – 6 :- Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth on the right side where you can find that the reservable bandwidth is set to 20% either make it to 0% or make it disable to increase your internet bandwidth and enjoy browsing and downloading with full speed.

Hurray you have done it, now check the your internet speed see it has increased to 20% fast.
