Is BA degree in Distance mode valid for government job? 

Sir,i have admitted in b.a in distance mode.i want to knoe that is it valid for govt.job

Dear Friend;

As said above that you have taken admission in Bachelor degree in Arts with distance mode and want to do job in Govt. sector then for your information a candidate is eligible for applying to the Govt. job on base of Graduation only if he has passed out Graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

If your university doesn't comes under UGC then you will be not eligible for applying to any posts in Central / State Govt. department and your precious time and valuable money will be get wasted.

After completion of your Graduation from a recognized university you may be eligible for applying to the following posts in Govt. sector :-

CIVIL SERVICE POSTS
ADMINISTRATIVE POSTS
EXECUTIVE LEVEL POSTS
UPPER GRADE POSTS
JUNIOR LEVEL POSTS
etc.

The following are some of the authorities that recruits candidates for the above said posts :-

UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION
STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION
STATE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION
RAILWAYS RECRUITMENT BOARD
etc.

You are also eligible for applying to the Probationary officer / Specialist officer as well as IT officer post in Banking sector.

I advice you to do Master degree after completion of your Graduation, because you are from Arts stream and after completion of your Master degree in Arts you will be eligible for applying to the lecturer post in Govt. degree colleges
