Dear Friend;
As said above that you have passed out Master degree in Computer
Applications from Indira Gandhi National Open Univeristy and want to know
whether you are eligible for applying to the Lecturer post in Govt. sector or
not.
Then for your information IGNOU - Indira Gandhi National Open
Univeristy comes under UGC means after completion of any course / Degree from
this university you may be eligible for applying to the posts throughout India.
For becoming an lecturer a candidate has to passed out National
eligibility test which is conducted by the University Grants Commission for the
Lecturer post in Govt. colleges.
The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the NET exam is as
follows :-
a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 21-30 years.
c) Educational qualification :-
Must has passed out Master degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50%
aggregate from a recognized university which comes under UGC.
Relaxation of 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC-ST is applicable.
The syllabus pattern followed for the written exam is as follows :-
GENERAL KNOWELDGE
GENERAL ENGLISH
NUMERICAL APTITUDE
OPTIONAL SUBJECT (Which a candidate has to choose based on the specialization
in Master degree)
