After graduating in Arts can I do MBA?

i am about to complete my graduation next year and i want to take MBA so please help me out..

Dear Aspirant,

As cited above that you are pursuing Graduation in Arts and want to do higher studies as Master degree in Business Administration then for your information on base of Graduation in any discipline you are eligible for taking admission in Post Graduation.

The following are some of the Post Graduate courses that you may be eligible for :-

Master degree in Business Administrator

Master degree in Arts

Etc.

As listed above that you may be eligible for taking admission in MBA, which is nothing but Master degree in Business Administration is a two year degree course. In this Post graduation you have to choose specialization like HR, Marketing, Finance, IT etc.

After completion of your Master degree in Business Administration you will be eligible for applying to the following posts based on your specialization in your Graduation :-

Managing Director

General Manager

Executive

Manager

Etc.

As cited you have done graduation with Arts stream then I would like to suggest you to choose HR and Administration as your Major and Minor subjects in Post Graduation, because opting subjects like Marketing, Finance, IT will be very hard for you.

For getting admission in MBA (PG) courses in Govt. university or colleges you have to appear for the MAT (Management Aptitude Test) which is conducted by the UGC or respective authority in the month of June / July. On base of merit you will be eligible for the Govt. seat. For more details visit your nearest university.

Apart from MBA, you are eligible for taking admission in Master degree in Arts, after completion of which you will be eligible for applying to the lecturer posts in Government degree colleges.

For becoming an lecturer in Govt. degree college you have to appear for the NET exam which is conducted by the UGC for the posts in Govt. degree colleges.

Other then that on base of graduation as qualification you will be eligible for applying to all Grade (Non-Technical) posts in Govt., Railways and Banking sector.

Can i apply for teacher job in any sector after completing MA? 

Dear Sir,  This is Rajkumari from Mangalore, karnataka, sir i have passed Master degree in Arts (MA) sir i wanted to know that can I apply for teacher job in any sector on base of MA in arts?

Dear Aspirant;

As said above that you have passed out Master degree in Arts and wants to do Teaching job then for your information on base of Master degree in Arts you may be eligible for applying to the lecturer post in Govt. Colleges for which you have to appear for the NATIONAL ENTRANCE TEST which is conducted by the UGC.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the above said post is as follows :-

a) Must be a Citizen of India

b) Age Limit should be 21-35 (Relaxation as per Category)

c) Must have passed out Master Degree with a Subject (Which you want to do teaching)

NET forms are easily available at Post office / Universities. This exam conducts once in a year and selected candidates are posted as Lecturer in the Government colleges. 

Apart from the lecturership if you have done Bachelor degree in Education (B.Ed) which is on base of Bachelor degree then you will be eligible for applying to the High School Teacher post in Govt. High Schools.

If you have done Diploma in Education i.e. D.Ed then you will be eligible for applying to the Primary School Teacher in Govt. Primary Schools.

As said above that you have passed out Master degree in Arts then take advantage of that because in your master degree you have studied more than half of subject which is there is Civil service post like IAS / IPS / IFS etc. 

The recruitment for the Civil service posts is recruited by the UPSC every year in the month of February, the exam pattern followed is as follows :-

Should i take computer course to get the job in Software field after B.Sc graduate and pursing PGDCA through correspondence?

I am B.sc. graduate in 2003 .now i am doing my pgdca through correspondence. i would like to know that whether i should take up some computer course to get the job in software field. i dont have any exp in software field. so plz suggest me the right course so that i can start my career.

As said above that you have passed out Graduation in Science in the year 2003 and you are planning for the job after 10 years and that too without experience, then for your information while applying to the job in Pvt. sector you will definitely face difficulties because Pvt. sector companies give more preference to the experienced candidates instead of fresher.

If you are planning to work in the Govt. / MNCs companies then change your decision, because you will not be eligible for applying, but you are planning to apply in any of the Pvt. sector company / Organization then you are having a chance.

As said above that you are getting confused in taking decision between Certified Computer courses and in PGDCA (With correspondence). 

For your information :-

Doing PGDCA from distance / correspondence is not useful, because as you know that a candidate just get degree but not knowledge while going for distance learning. Many of the distance universities provides only Notes but not teaching, as you are not having any knowledge in certified courses, then going for certified courses is the best option.

Because if you do certified courses from the best institutes you will get knowledge + valid certificate, here below are some of the certified courses that you have to do for getting a job easily :-

NETWORKING COURSES LIKE MCSE / MCSA / CCNA / RHCE etc.

PROGRAMMING COURSES LIKE ASP.NET / JAVA / J2EE / VISUAL STUDIO etc.

DATABASE COURSES LIKE ORACLE / DBMS / SQL SERVER etc.

Apart from the above said courses there are various of courses available in Computer field which are having an average scope, some of them is as follows :-

MS OFFICE

TALLY 

AUTOCAD

etc.

Presently i'm doing BCA after BCA can i join for MA or no.MCA is of how many years either 2 or 3 years?can i do job sitting in home if it is yes please post me...

As said above that you are pursuing Bachelor degree in Computer applications and want to know that after completion you can work by sitting at home or not and also you want to know will you eligible for taking admission in Master of Arts and you also want to know about how many years does MCA course is then for your information :-

a) After completion of your Bachelor degree in Computer Applications you will be eligible for sitting and working at home by taking projects and also you can give coaching / tution to the students at home.

b) MCA - Master degree in Computer applications is an three year programme. For taking admission in MCA a candidate has to passed out Graduation in Science / Computer Applications with Mathematics as a subject in Graduation from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

c) As said above that on base of Bachelor degree in Computer applications you may be eligible for taking admission in MCA but not in MA - Master degree in arts. Hence you will be not eligible for taking admission in Master degree in Arts on base of BCA.

Apart from that you are eligible for applying to various posts in Central / State Govt. departments which are conducted by the UPSC / SPSC / SSC / Railways etc.

You are also eligible for applying to the PROBATIONARY OFFICER as well as CLERICAL ASSISTANT post in Banking sector.

After successful completion of your Master degree in Computer Applications you may be eligible for applying to various positions like :-

I am a mca student and icompleated bcom degree whether i get a job in banking sector after compleation of mca course?

Indian Banking personnel selection is an authority to conduct the recruitment for the posts in Banking sector, 19 Public sector banks comes under IBPS. Other then that State Bank of India and some other co-operative banks too recruits the candidates for the posts like :-

Probationary officer

Clerical Assistant.

On base of just passed Graduation in any discipline you are eligible for applying to the above said posts subject to the conditions that you must be a Citizen of India and your age does not exceeds to 28 years only if you belongs to General Category.

There following are the relaxation applicable for backward category candidates :-

3 years to OBC

5 years to SC-ST

10 years to Ex-servicemen
