Andhra Bank, Axis Bank, Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Canara Bank, Bank of India, Oriental Bank of Commerce etc.

State Bank of India is one of the leading Bank of India which has a large number of branches spread all over the country the recruitment for the posts in State Bank of India is done by the SBI Banking recruiting authorities.

Am i eligible for PO exam being a SC category student with B.Tech in 56%?


sir iam bhagya.my cast is SC i have 56% in B.tech.I applied PO post for andra bank.but they mentioned 60% in degree.but i thought that all govt.job for SC/ST have 55% only.please tell me can i eligible for that po exam.

eligibility for PO jobs in bank, how to get Probationary officer job in bank, courses for getting a job in banking sector, job in bank for SC/ST, after B.Tech, BE with 55%

As said above that you have passed out Graduation in Technology with 56% aggregate and you belongs to SC category and wants to apply for the Probationary officer post in Banking sector.

For you information, the minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the Probationary officer post is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28 

c) Educational qualification :- 

Must have passed out Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC. Only 20% of the banks wants 60% aggregate in Graduation for applying to PO post.

Relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 to Sc-ST and 10 to Ex-servicemen is applicable in terms of age is applicable for applying to the PO post in Banking sector.

IBPS - Indian Banking Personnel Selection is an authority to recruit candidates for the 19 Public Sector banks, IBPS recruit candidates for the PROBATIONARY OFFICE as well as CLERICAL ASSISTANT post twice a year in the month of February / March as well as July / August.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the above said posts is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28 (Relaxation as per category)
c) Educational qualification :- 

For PROBATIONARY OFFICER post a candidate has to pass out Graduation from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

For CLERICAL ASSISTANT post a candidate has to pass out SSLC with a minimum of 60% aggregate or INTERMEDIATE with a minimum of 55% aggregate.

What should i do for Bank jobs after Diploma qualification in Computer Technology?

As said above that you have done Diploma in Computer Technology and want to do further studies in Bachelor of Engineering, then for your information :-

On base of SSLC / Diploma with a minimum of 60% aggregate, you may be eligible for applying to the Clerical Assistant post in Banking sector.

The pay scale for the Banking sector clerical post is around 10500-14500/-

But, for your better future, I advice you to do Graduation in Engineering because there is much more scope available in the Software / IT field for those who has passed out Graduation in Engineering with Computer Science.

After completion of your Graduation in Engineering with Computer Science you may be eligible for applying to the various positions in Govt. / Railways / Banking as well as Pvt. sector Software / IT companies.

You may be posted as follows in the above said sectors / Organizations :-

Administrator
Web Designer
Data Analyst
System Analyst
Programmer
System Engineer
Network Engineer
Etc.

Other then that after completion you may be eligible for applying to all Groups posts conducted by the UPSC / SPSC / SSC for the posts in Central / State Govt. departments.

You will also eligible for applying to the high paid post in banking sector like Specialist / IT officer as well as Probationary officer, because it requires Gradation as minimum qualification.
