Dear Themask Sir,Are there any government exams for Btech IT engineer?if so please provide the details of it.Myself is IT engineer and i want to go for government jobs and services.please revert ASAP..........

Dear Friend;
As said above that you have passed out Graduation in Technology with Information Technology stream then for your information there are numerous of opportunities available in Govt. as well pvt. sector. On base of B.Tech with IT stream you are eligible for applying to the posts like PROGRAMMER / DESIGNER / ENGINEER / ANALYST etc.
Other then your field you are eligible for applying to various Civil servcie / Executive posts in Govt. / Railways as well as Banking sector.
You are eligible for applying to the above said posts in the Govt. Organizations like DRDO / BHEL / BEML / ISRO / SAIL / GAIL / ONGC / IOC etc.
In Govt. department you are eligible for applying to various Civil Service / Executive / Upper Grade as well as Junior level posts.
In Railways sector you are eligible for applying to numerous of Technical as well as Non Technical posts.
In Banking sector you are eligible for applying to the Probationary officer as well as Clerical Assistant post.
The following is the syllabus pattern followed by the Selection authority for the written exam :-
GENERAL AWARENESS / KNOWELDGE
GENERAL ENGLISH
NUMERICAL APTITUDE
LOGICAL REASONING
Other then educational qualification a candidate must be a citizen of India and his age does not exceeds to 28 years. There would be a relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 to SC-ST and 10 to Ex-servicemen is applicable.
