Am I eligible to become an IPS Officer while pursuing B.Com 2nd year? How can I prepare for the same exam?

I am doing b.com 2nd year. I want to be IPS Officer.
Am I eligible for IPS? And How to apply for IPS Exam.

Dear Aspirant;
Its good that you want to become and IPS office and want to make
the country crime free, for your information IPS is nothing but Indian Police
service which is an Civil service posts and the recruitment for IPS post is
made by the Union Public service commission every year in the month of
February.
As mentioned above that you are still pursing Graduation, so you are not
eligible for applying to the Civil Service post because the minimum eligibility
criteria requires for applying to the IPS post is as follows :-
a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 21-28 years.
c) Educational qualification :-
Must has passed out Graduation in any discipline from a recognized
university which comes under UGC.
Physical fitness requires is as follows :-
Chest :- 82cms
Height :- 172cms
Weight :- Equivalent to Height as per standard measures.
Selection is purely based on Preliminary exam / Mains exam /
Interview and on Merit.
