How to prepare for the Indian Railway exam?
sir,i am Sonu Srivastav, mine educational qualification is B.tech in mechanical engg.i am also a diploma holder in mechanicl engg. then i want to join the indian railway. i have been given 2 exams of indian railway on diploma basis for je post but never clear that exam.because i gave them without preparation.but when i stared to prepare for this exam i get confused to what should i read. sir so please give me a way to how to prepare for indain railway exam.thankyounitten
Dear Aspirant;
Railways is considered to be the biggest employer of Govt. of India
and its also an Central Govt. department. The recruitment for which is done by
the Railways recruiting board for the posts in Indian Railways. As mentioned
above that you have passed out Graduation in Technology with Mechanical
Engineering and want to enter into Railways then for your information on base
of B.Tech Mechanical you are eligible for applying to various positions, some
of them are listed below :-
ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE ENGINEER
SECTION ENGINEER
JUNIOR ENGINEER
TRAINEE ASSISTANT
LOCO PILOT
etc.
The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the above said
posts is as follows :-
a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-30 years.
c) Educational qualification :-
Must has passed out Graduation in Engineering / Technology with a
minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized university which comes under UGC and
approved by AICTE.
Selection pattern followed is as follows :-
WRITTEN EXAM
TECHNICAL INTERVIEW
MERIT
Syllabus pattern for the Written exam is as follows :-
GENERAL AWARENESS
GENERAL ENGLISH
NUMERICAL & CLERICAL APTITUDE
OPTION SUBJECT (Which a candidate has to choose based on his specialisation in
Graduation)
For getting perfect in the above said topics one has to take
coaching or have to refer books from best authors and have to do study atleast
a minimum of 8 hours daily.
