Way to apply, syllabus and previous year question papers of the exam conducted by India Post Office for the post of Postal Assistant?

Please tell me, how to apply for the post of postal assistant of india in post office.
Also i want to know the syllabus for this post exam and previous question and answer paper also.
Dear Aspirant;
The recruitment for the posts in Indian Post is conducted by the
Indian Post Department which is an Central Govt. department. Like other Govt.
department here also posts has been divided into Groups based on Qualification.
As mentioned above that you want details about Postal Assistant post, then
for your information Postal Assistant is an Group D post and the minimum
eligibility criteria requires for applying to the above said posts is as
follows :-
a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28 years
c) Educational qualification :-
Must has passed out SSLC with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a
recognized board .
The syllabus pattern followed by the Indian Post for the Postal Assistant is
as follows :-
GENERAL KNOWELDGE
GENERAL ENGLISH
NUMERICAL APTITUDE
CLERICAL ASSISTANT
Selection is purely based on Written exam / Interview and on Merit 
Books to be referred for cracking postal assistant post is as follows :-
