Canara Bank was established in the year 1906 with its head quarter in Bangalore, Karnataka. It was founded by Shri Ammembal Subba Rao Pai a great philanthropist and Visionary of Mangalore. Like all banks this bank was also nationalized in the year 1969. 

There are more than 3564 branches of Canara Bank spread through out India. Mr. Sunderrajan Raman is the CMD of Canara Bank.
