Dear Friend;

Government jobs are much more secure job that's the reason why most of the candidates prefer Govt. jobs instead of Pvt. sector jobs. For your information the recruitment for the Govt. posts is recruited by the following :-

Union Public Service Commission for the Civil service Posts in Central Govt.

Other then the above commissions there are various of Central / State Govt. Organizations that recruits the candidates in Govt. sector.

Railways and Banking sector also considered to be the most secured posts after Govt. sector.

But, the minimum age limit prescribed by the Govt. for applying to any post in the above Govt. Departments / Commissions / Organizations / Sector is 18 years while the upper age limit for applying is 28 years for General Category candidates.

The following relaxation in terms of age is applicable for Backward Category candidates is as follows :-

Relaxation of 3 years to OBC
Relaxation of 5 years to SC-ST
Relaxation of 10 years to Ex-servicemen is applicable.

As said above that you are from OBC category and your age is exactly 31, before applying to any post read the (minimum age as on date) paragraph in the notification carefully.  For more details visit our Eligibility solutions page.
