Is mathematics knowledge an important criterion for cracking the bank exams?
Will there be any additional advantage for the candidates having knowledge in mathematics such as B.Tech or B.Sc graduates for cracking bank exams? What is the exam pattern in the bank exams of nationalized banks?

Banking sector jobs are the secured jobs next to Govt. sector, the recruitment for the posts in Banking sector is recruited by the IBPS / SBI / Some other cooperative banks. The most preferable post in Banking sector is as follows :-
PROBATIONARY OFFICER(Click to know the work of Probationary officer in Bank)
CLERICAL ASSISTANT (Click to know the work Clerk in Bank)
The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the above said post is as follows :-
a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28 years.
c) Educational qualification :-
For PO post a candidate has to passed out Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.
For Clerical Assistant post a candidate has to passed out SSLC with a minimum of 60% aggregate or have to passed out Intermediate with a minimum of 55% aggregate from a recognized board / institution.
As you want to know that whether any special knowledge of Mathematics is requires or not, then for your information for cracking Banking sector exam a candidate should be perfect in Mathematics because the syllabus pattern followed by Banking authorities for the above said posts is as follows :-
