What i have to do to become Government teacher after B.Sc and MCA? 

i have done bsc,mca. now i want to become government teacher. what i hv to do?

Dear Aspirant;

Its good that you want to start your career in teaching field which is considered to be the most respectable field in society / locality. As mentioned above that you have done Bachelor degree and have also done Master degree in Computer applications, then for your information there are three type of teaching posts available in Govt. sector, they are :-

LECTURER

HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER

PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER

For applying to the Lectureship a candidate has to passed out Master degree in a subject / stream in which one wants to do lectureship for this a candidate has to appear for the NET / SLET entrance exam which is conducted by the UGC every year in the month of June / July.

For applying to the High School Teacher post a candidate has to passed out one year Bachelor degree in Education which is on base of Graduation. The recruitment for the High school teacher post is recruited by the State Public Instruction / Service Commission for the posts in Govt. High schools.

For applying to the Primary School Teacher post a candidate has to passed out Diploma in Education i.e D.Ed which is on base of Intermediate. After completion you may be eligible for applying to the posts in Govt. Primary schools.

Other then educational qualification a candidate must be a citizen of India and his age does not exceeds to 38 years. Relaxation of 3 years to OBC and 5 to Sc-ST is applicable.

Selection will be purely based on Written exam / Interview and on Merit.
