Dear Aspirants;

As said above that have done Bachelor degree in Computer applications and you are working in any of the reputed company since from five years and want to appear for the UGC entrance test like NET exam. Then for your information NET is nothing but National Eligibility test which is conducted by the University Grants commission for the lecturer post in the Govt. colleges.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the NET exam is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit 21-32
c) Educational qualification :-

Must has passed out Master degree with a subject in which a candidate wants to do teaching with a minimum of 60% aggregate from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

National Eligibility Test (NET) held normally in the month of June / July every year for the lecturer post.

The syllabus pattern followed by the UGC for the above said post is as follows :-

Optional subject (Which a candidate has to choose based on the specialization in Master degree)

For getting notified or for application forms of NET exam a candidate has to visit the nearest postoffice or has to visit the nearest university.

Relaxation of 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC-ST is applicable similarly the relaxation in terms of cutoff is also eligible for the backward category candidates. 

Hence, from the above its clear that if you have passed out Master degree then only you will be eligible for applying else you will be not eligible.

Civil Services Preliminary Exam Pattern 2013





Dear Aspirants;

Civil Service exams are conducted by the UPSC i.e. Union Public Service Commission for the Group A Civil service post like IAS / IPS / IAF / IFS etc in Central Government department.

Civil Service Exams are conducted in three stages i.e. :-

a) Preliminary Exam
b) Mains Exam
c) Interview

Civil Service Preliminary examination consists of Objective type questions which consists of two papers and of four hundred marks.

The scheme and pattern followed by the UPSC for the Civil Service Preliminary exam is of two papers i.e. 

a) Paper I (200 marks)
b) Paper II (200 marks)

Both the papers are set in two languages i.e. English and Hindi.  The duration for both the papers are of two hours each (Extra time of twenty minutes for each paper is entertained for Blind candidates).

The questions are prepared for the English language comprehensive skill test are based on SSlC (Class 10th) Syllabus.

Which is the age limit for OBC candidates for teaching/ banking jobs?

Teaching and Banking sector posts are two different sectors which are mostly Suitable and lovely post for most of the Women’s and Girls.

There are three type of teaching posts available in Govt. sector :-

a) Lecturer post :- For applying to this post Master degree is recommended.
b) High School Teacher :- For this post a candidate has to passed out Graduation and one year bachelor of education coarse.
c) Primary School Teacher :- For this post a candidate has to passed out Intermediate and Diploma in education.

There are Three type of posts available in Banking sector :-

a) Probationary officer
b) Specialist / IT Officer

For the above said posts a candidate has to passed out Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

For applying to the Clerical Assistant post a candidate has to passed out SSLC with a minimum of 60% aggregate / Intermediate with a minimum of 55% aggregate.

Other then educational qualification a candidate must be a citizen of India and his age does not exceeds to 28 years for General category.

The following is the relaxation applicable for the Backward category candidates :-

3 years for OBC
5 years for SC-ST
10 years for Ex-servicemen

Like other departments, there are different posts available in Banking sector but the most preferable posts are as follows :-

PROBATIONARY OFFICER
CLERICAL ASSISTANT


For applying to the PO post a candidate has to passed out Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC. While applying to the Clerical Assistant post a candidate has to passed out SSLC with a minimum of 60% aggregate or Intermediate with a minimum of 55% aggregate.

Other then educational qualification you must be a citizen of India and you age should be in between 18-28 years. 

Relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 to SC-ST and 10 to Ex-servicemen in terms of age is applicable to the Backward category candidates.

As said above that you are feeling very much difficulty in solving problems then I advice you not to directly prepare but start preparing from the junior level. Because the questions designed for the banking sector posts are of SSLC level only so for Mathematics you have to become perfect upto SSLC then have to start preparing.


Refer books from the best authors like RS Agarwal, S chand publications or Modern Algebra will be very useful to you.

After completion of your Graduation in Engineering you are eligible for applying to the Govt. as well as Banking sector posts. Because the minimum eligibility criteria requires is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28
c) Educational Qualification :- Depend on which type / Group Post you want to apply.

The minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the administrative Group A / B / C posts in Govt. sector is just passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

The minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the Group D posts in Govt. sector is 50% aggregate in SSLC/PUC.

For applying to the Probationary officer post in Banking sector, just passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is required. For Clerical Assistant post a candidate has to passed out SSLC with a minimum of 60% aggregate and Intermediate with a minimum of 55% aggregate.

The following are the relaxation in respect of age, is provided by the Govt. / Banking sector authorities :-

Relaxation of 3 years of upper age to OBC candidates.
Relaxation of 5 years of upper age to SC/ST candidates.
Relaxation of 10 years of upper age to EX-Servicemen.

Banking sector posts are recruited by the Banking authorities like IBPS / SBI and some other cooperative banks. In Banking sector there are two types of posts available one is probationary officer and other is Clerical Assistant. For applying to the PO post a candidate has to passed out Graduation and for Clerical Assistant post a candidate has to passed out SSLC / Intermediate with a minimum of 60% / 55%.


IBPS recruits candidates for the above said posts twice a year, for more detials or for latest openings Clickhere. 

SSC is nothing but Staff Selection Commission. Its an authority for recruiting candidates for the Group B/C and D posts in the Central Govt. department.

For applying to the Group B and C post one has to passed out Graduation from a recognized university and for Group D posts a candidate has to passed out SSLC / Intermediate with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
