eCPM – What is eCPM, Details about eCPM and what is the importance of ECPM?

Dear Sir, This is Vivek from Hyderabad, I have created a new website and I have used Chitika ads on my website, but the problem is in my chitika ads earning it is showing eCPM, what is this eCPM I am not understanding, so please can you explain me about this word eCPM, I will be thankful to you?

Dear Aspirants;

eCPM is nothing but effective Cost per mile. Before I explain you about the eCPM I would like to give a short information on CPM for better understanding.

CPM is nothing but Cost per mile. CPM is calculated based on 1000 impression that an advertiser gets on their ads which are displayed on a website. CPM is the most useful calculations / measures which are used in internet marketing.

eCPM is one of the best sign of a successful marketing campaign. Many of the top most Ads networks use eCPM as key metrics to measure a campaign’s performance.

The eCPM is obtained by the following formula :-

               Total Earning
eCPM =  ---------------   x 1000
                Impressions

eCPM is a result of the conversion rate, click rate, CPA offer, and effectiveness of traffic. The advertiser will be paid for the traffic if the eCPM is measured to be higher than the CPM.

As above you have mentioned that you use Chitika Network for displaying Ads on your Website, so click here for getting complete details of Chitika Ads Network and also how to earn more and more money through Chitika Ads.

Hope this above information is useful to you :)

All the best :)
