Job in Banking sector after 12th class? 

Hy, this is Suneel Mishra from Delhi, i have passed 12th class with 55% aggregate from CBSE board, sir, i wanted to know am i eligible for doing a job in Banking sector on base of 12th qualification with 55% marks.  If yes then what are the post and what i have to do to get a job in Bank?

Dear Aspirant;


Banking sector posts is recruited by the Indian Banking personnel Selection as well as State Bank of India for the posts like Clerical Assistant as well as Probationary officer in banking sector.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the post in Banking sector is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28 years (There would be a relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 to SC-ST and 10 to Ex-servicemen is applicable)
c) Education qualification :- 



Educational qualification requires for Clerical Assistant post in Banking sector :-

60% in SSLC

OR

55% in Intermediate

OR

Just passed Graduation in any discipline from an recognized university which comes under UGC.

Educational qualification requires for Probationary Officer post in Banking sector :-

Just passed Graduation from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

Hence from the above its clear that on basis of 12th qualification you are eligible for Clerical Assistant post.

Syllabus pattern followed by the Banking authorities for the written exam is as follows :-




Selection is totally based on written exam / Interview and on merit

Can i write Clerk exam for Bank after 12th with 49.2% in SC category? 

I've passed my 12th with 49.2% in SC category.... so can i give exam for clerk jobs in bank?

Banking sector jobs are the secured jobs next to the Govt. sector and are most preferable post for most of the women’s in terms of time management. As said above that you have passed out Intermediate with a minimum of 49.2% and you belongs to SC category and want to apply for the clericalassistant post in Banking sector.

Then for your information, the minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the Clerical Assistant post in Banking sector is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28 years.
c) Educational qualification :- 

Must has passed out SSLC with a minimum of 60%aggregate or Intermediate with a minimum of 55% aggregate.

Relaxation of 5% is applicable in terms of percentage for the SC-ST candidates.

Relaxation in terms of age is applicable for backward category candidates :-

No relaxation for General Category
Relaxation of 3 years to OBC
Relaxation of 5 years to SC-ST
Relaxation of 10 years to Ex-Servicemen is applicable.

Selection is purely based on Written test, Interview and on Merit.

Hence, from the above its clear that on base of Intermediate percentage you are not eligible but haan if you have passed SSLC with a minimum of 55% aggregate then you can.

Yes, you are eligible for applying to the Clerical Assistant post in Banking sector because the minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the Clerical Assistant post in Banking sector is 55% in Intermediate from a recognized board / institution.

The following are the banking authorities that recruit candidates for the posts in Banking sector :-

INDIAN BANKING PERSONELL SELECTION
STATE BANK OF INDIA
CO OPERATIVE BANKS
Etc.

Other then educational qualification you must be a citizen of India and you age should be in between 18-28 years. 

Relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 to SC-ST and 10 to Ex-servicemen in terms of age is applicable to the Backward category candidates.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the banking sector exams is as follows :-


a) Must be a Citizen of India

b) Age limit should be 18-28 For General Category 

(There would be a relaxation of 3 years to OBC / 5 to SC-ST and 10 years to Ex-servicemen is applicable)

c) Educational qualification:- 




A candidate has to passed out SSLC with minimum of 60% aggregate / Intermediate with minimum of 55% aggregate / Just passed Graduation in any discipline.


A candidate has to passed out Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

The syllabus pattern for Bank exams are :-

b) General English / State regional Language



Books to be reffered :- 

1. General knoweldge (For this refer Manorama Year book) 
2. General English (For this refer Wren and Martin Book)
3. Numerical Aptitude (For this you had to refer RS AGarwal Numerical aptitude book)

There are various posts available in Govt. as well as Pvt. sector for those who has passed out SSLC / Intermediate with a minimum of 50% aggregate. On base of SSLC / Intermediate qualification a candidate is eligible for applying to the Group D posts.

Dear Sir, This is Vinya from Karnataka, sir i have passed PUC in Commerce and wanted to know the job opportunities available for me on base of puc in commerce.  So can you please suggest me some of the good jobs available as per my educational qualification i.e. PUC in Commerce?

As said above that you have passed out Intermediate with Commerce stream and want to know the job opportunities but you have not told about in which sector your want to do the job, for your information Government / Railways as well as Banking sector posts are the most secured posts in terms of job security other then Pvt. sector posts.

But, on base of Intermediate you may be eligible for applying to only Group D junior level posts only, but getting a good job in the above said sector a candidate has to passed out Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

As said above that you have passed out Intermediate then on base of SSLC / Intermediate with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized board you may be eligible for applying to the posts like :-

LOWER DIVISIONAL CLERK

As said above that you have passed out Intermediate qualification with a minimum of 54% and want to work in the MNCs, then for your information MNC is nothing but Multi National Company, the minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the posts in the MNCs is as follows :-

60% in SSLC
60% in Intermediate
65% in Graduation

The selection pattern followed by the MNCs to recruits candidates for the posts in their companies is as follows :-
