Is it possible to apply for jobs in other states after passing IBPS Clerk Recruitment examination?

Thursday 7 March 2013

Is it possible to apply for jobs in other states after passing IBPS Clerk Recruitment examination?

Dear Friend;

The recruitment made by IBPS for the Clerical Assistant as well as Probationary officer post is centrally but not state wise. Means if a candidate has passed out the competitive exam then he will get a valid score card, based on that he will be eligible for applying to the posts in the Public sector banks which comes under IBPS through out India.

Now, its completely depends on the bank which you had applied for, if they have vacancies in your state then you will eligible, if not then you can't.

Read the notification of bank which you have applied for carefully, because in that they have clearly mentioned that

"A candidate after qualifying will be posted any where throughout India "

For more details check the bank website / www.ibps.in

Hope this information is useful to you
