hiiii.......i have scored 72% in 10th class , 66% in 12th class and 71% in B.TECH computer scince...can i apply for job in big companies like TCS ,INFOYSES etc...plz suggest me for my future.....

As said above that you have passed out Graduation in Technology and want to work in the MNCs companies like TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO etc, then for your information on base of Graduation in Technology with Computer science, you are eligible for applying to the posts like

As said above that you have passed out Intermediate in Pure Science with more than 60% aggregate and want to do job then for your information on base of Intermediate you may be eligible for applying to the various posts in Govt. as well as Pvt. sector. But, i advice you to go ahead for Graduation in Engineering / Technology / Medical field for better opportunities in future.

I have done BCA degree and working as a software engineer from 5 years in one of the reputed company ...

Please let me know if I am eligible for UGC entrance test

Dear Aspirants;

As said above that have done Bachelor degree in Computer applications and you are working in any of the reputed company since from five years and want to appear for the UGC entrance test like NET exam. Then for your information NET is nothing but National Eligibility test which is conducted by the University Grants commission for the lecturer post in the Govt. colleges.

The minimum eligibility criteria requires for applying to the NET exam is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit 21-32
c) Educational qualification :-

Must has passed out Master degree with a subject in which a candidate wants to do teaching with a minimum of 60% aggregate from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

National Eligibility Test (NET) held normally in the month of June / July every year for the lecturer post.

The syllabus pattern followed by the UGC for the above said post is as follows :-

Optional subject (Which a candidate has to choose based on the specialization in Master degree)

For getting notified or for application forms of NET exam a candidate has to visit the nearest postoffice or has to visit the nearest university.

Relaxation of 3 years to OBC and 5 years to SC-ST is applicable similarly the relaxation in terms of cutoff is also eligible for the backward category candidates. 

Hence, from the above its clear that if you have passed out Master degree then only you will be eligible for applying else you will be not eligible.

Dear Aspirant;

As said above that you have passed out Graduation and you have crossed 35 years of age and have no experience, than for your information you have crossed 35 years of age so you are not eligible for applying to the post in Govt. / Banking / Railways sector because the maximum age limit for the General Category candidates is 28 years and for OBC and SC-ST category is around 31 and 33 years.

On base of Graduation you are eligible for applying to various posts in Pvt. sector, but for that you have to do some certified courses like :- 

MICROSOFT CERTIFIED SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
MICROSOFT CERTIFIED SYSTEM ENGINEER
RED HAT CERTIFIED NETWORK ENGINEER
HARDWARE & NETWORKING

etc.

You are eligible for applying to the above said posts in most of the Pvt. sector as well as Govt. sector companies / Organizations.

The starting salary you get in the Pvt. sector as a fresher is around 6k to 8k per month.

After completion of your Graduation in Engineering you are eligible for applying to the Govt. as well as Banking sector posts. Because the minimum eligibility criteria requires is as follows :-

a) Must be a citizen of India
b) Age limit should be 18-28
c) Educational Qualification :- Depend on which type / Group Post you want to apply.

The minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the administrative Group A / B / C posts in Govt. sector is just passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university which comes under UGC.

The minimum educational qualification requires for applying to the Group D posts in Govt. sector is 50% aggregate in SSLC/PUC.

For applying to the Probationary officer post in Banking sector, just passed Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is required. For Clerical Assistant post a candidate has to passed out SSLC with a minimum of 60% aggregate and Intermediate with a minimum of 55% aggregate.

The following are the relaxation in respect of age, is provided by the Govt. / Banking sector authorities :-

Relaxation of 3 years of upper age to OBC candidates.
Relaxation of 5 years of upper age to SC/ST candidates.
Relaxation of 10 years of upper age to EX-Servicemen.

Indian Banking personnel selection is an authority to conduct the banking sector exams, 19 Public sector banks comes under IBPS and IBPS is also recruiting for the posts in Regional Rural Banks too.

The syllabus pattern for the IBPS exam is as follows :-



A candidate has to score atleast 25 marks in each topics for getting eligible for cuttoff.

The cutoff list generated by IBPS for the year 2012 is as follows :-

164 for General Category
160 for OBC
158 for SC-ST
154 for Ex-servicemen

Note :- Cutoff differs from bank to bank depend upon the number of posts and candidates applied.
